Territoires bouleversés: Photography of Wounded Landscapes

Galerie le Réverbère in Lyon recently presented a thematic exhibition on wounded territory through the works of photographers Pierre Canaguier, Béatrix Von Conta, and André Forester. The show successfully articulated a global discourse on the deconstruction of contemporary landscape while preserving the singularity of each artist's work. Meanwhile, Jörg Sasse, exhibited at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and the Institut Goethe, presented photographs of everyday life taken from family albums or found images, then recolored and reworked on computer, characterized by the strangeness and playfulness typical of his oeuvre.
