Ten Artists Reimagine Alcantara in Milan's Palazzo Reale
The upcoming 'Nove Viaggi nel Tempo' (Nine Journeys Through Time) exhibition will take place at the Appartamento del Principe in Milan's Palazzo Reale, curated by Davide Quadrio and Massimo Torrigiani. This event runs from April 2018 until May 13, 2018, and features new creations from ten international artists including Aaajiao, Andrea Anastasio, and Caterina Barbieri, all using Alcantara, a signature fabric from Italy. Admission is free, aligning with Milan's art and design weeks. For some artists like Zeitguised and Barbieri, this marks their first chance to create large-scale works in this context. Launched in 2016, the project aims to blend art and design, supported by Alcantara’s CEO Andrea Boragno. The exhibition showcases nine diverse projects, including painting and digital design.
