Temp Studio #3 in Lisbon Unites Global New Media Artists

The third installment of Temp Studio #3, a residency dedicated to new media artists, was hosted in Lisbon. Since its inception in 2015, the Temp Studio team has organized this event biannually, featuring 28 artists who showcased interactive creations. Among the highlights were Boris Debackere's immersive soundscape and Carlotta Premazzi's visuals derived from brainwaves. Martin Backes and Laurie Bender presented augmented reality experiences, while Marco Accardi and Nuno Mika crafted holograms. Ryan Cherewaty and Error-43 explored dystopian VR. Catarina Sampaio and Susana Sanches displayed digital traces, Ivan Stefanac examined technology's effect on empathy, and Justyna Orłowska articulated networks. S ɅH ɅR delivered an immersive installation, with additional coding interactions by Stupelab, Juan Vallejo, Sol Ey, and Sara Persico.
