TEFAF New York 2025: 91 Galleries, New Director, and Historic Architecture

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

TEFAF New York 2025 will take place at the Park Avenue Armory from May 9 to 13, with a collector preview on May 8. Organized by The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF), the fair features 91 galleries from around the world, including 13 first-time exhibitors. Unlike its Maastricht counterpart, the New York edition focuses on modern and contemporary art and design, while also presenting jewelry and antiquities. The fair expands into the Armory's historic period rooms, a privilege exclusive to TEFAF, with design by Tom Postma Design. This is the first New York edition under new TEFAF Director General Dominique Savelkoul. Notable returning galleries include Gagosian, David Zwirner, White Cube, and Sprüth Magers. Italian participants include Cardi, Massimodecarlo, Galleria Continua, Galleria d'Arte Maggiore g.a.m., Robilant+Voena, and Tornabuoni Arte. Highlights include Emma Reyes's 'White Poppy' (1979) at Leon Tovar Gallery, Anne Imhof's bronze reliefs at Sprüth Magers, and Daniel Richter's 'Triumpf des Höhnischen' (2024) at Thaddaeus Ropac. Debuting DeLorenzo Gallery presents a Tiffany Wisteria Table Lamp (1905) designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany with Clara Driscoll and Agnes Northrup. David Gill exhibits Zaha Hadid's 'Liquid Glacial' series (2012). Patrick Seguin Gallery reassembles part of Jean Prouvé's Croismare School (1948) for the first time.
