Team Emanuele Genuizzi Wins Piazza Castello Design Competition in Milan

A team led by Emanuele Genuizzi, which includes Vincenzo Strambio De Castillia, Giovanni Banal, Enrico Ragazzo, Andrea Carloni, and Roberto Taddei, has triumphed in the €25,000 international design contest for Piazza Castello – Foro Buonaparte in Milan, chosen from more than 60 entries. Their design will be showcased at Sala Viscontea of Castello Sforzesco until February 21. The jury, under the leadership of Maurizio Carones, commended the proposal for its ability to link via Dante and Piazza Castello, incorporating full accessibility, enhanced green areas with maple trees, new calcestre pavement, warm LED illumination, and recessed lighting. Implementation will occur in phases, beginning with Piazza Castello. Valeria Bottelli highlighted that the competition was organized through Concorrimi.it, promoting anonymity and cost efficiency.
