Taymour Grahne Projects Opens Dubai Gallery at Alserkal Avenue with Gail Spaien Exhibition

Taymour Grahne Projects has launched a new gallery space in Dubai's Alserkal Avenue, marking its expansion into the Middle East. The gallery's founder, Taymour Grahne, describes the move as a homecoming, citing his Lebanese heritage and longstanding connections to the UAE. With previous locations in New York and London, the Dubai outpost aims to cultivate relationships with collectors and institutions across the region. The inaugural exhibition features Maine-based artist Gail Spaien, whose show 'Arranging Flowers' opens in September. Spaien's paintings explore themes of home, craft, and nature through decorative patterns and imagined landscapes. Grahne plans to participate in Art Dubai and Abu Dhabi Art fairs, reinforcing the gallery's commitment to the UAE's growing art scene. The gallery's program includes artists from the MENA region and its diasporas, such as Mohammed Kazem and the late Tarek Al-Ghoussein. Grahne emphasizes supporting artists long-term and presenting diverse international voices in Dubai.
