Taste Food, Save Art: Dining for Art Restoration in Rome, Florence, Milan

The platform pArt, founded by Lelio Orsini and Maddalena Salerno, has launched 'Taste Food, Save Art' to fund art restoration through gourmet dinners. With support from Camilla Carrega, the initiative offers vouchers for degustation meals at three restaurants: Ristorante l'Arcangelo in Rome (chef Arcangelo Dandini), Leggenda dei Frati in Florence (chef Filippo Saporito), and Daniel Canzian's restaurant in Milan. Half of each €95 voucher goes to the restaurant, half to restoration. In Rome, proceeds restore the 14th-century 'Trittico del Salvatore' in Anagni Cathedral. In Florence, they restore Beato Angelico's 'Annunciazione' at the Museo della Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie in San Giovanni Valdarno. In Milan, they restore a paper painting by Giancarlo Sangregorio held by the Fondazione Sangregorio in Varese. Each voucher includes a limited-edition print by illustrator Cinzia Franceschini. Vouchers are valid for 12 months; prints ship within 60 days.
