Taron Egerton on 'Special Connection' with Elton John After Rocketman

Taron Egerton, who played Elton John in the 2019 biopic Rocketman, says he shares a 'special connection' with the musician. The 36-year-old actor described the role as a 'singular opportunity' and noted that John was 'very complimentary' about his performance, which earned Egerton a BAFTA nomination.
