exhibition · 2026-04-23

The Tanoto Art Foundation (TAF) is set to unveil its first exhibition, Rituals of Perception, at the New Bahru School Hall in Singapore. Scheduled to commence on 21 January 2026 and continue until 1 March 2026, this event signifies TAF's return to Singapore Art Week following its debut in 2025. Curated by Xiaoyu Weng, the exhibition showcases recent pieces and new commissions from over twenty contemporary artists. It investigates the notion of presentiment, as articulated by philosopher Byung-Chul Han, highlighting intuitive insights that transcend logical comprehension. Featured artists include Shuvinai Ashoona, Trisha Baga, and Anicka Yi, among others. TAF will also offer free weekly public programs, including performances and discussions.
