Tano Festa's Graphic Works Now Available Online
The complete graphic works of Tano Festa (Rome 1938-1988) are now accessible online. The digital catalog, curated by his daughter Anita Festa over twenty years, includes over 600 pieces. This follows the publication of the general catalog of his paintings last June, which covered his entire career from 1957 to 1987 with 1,736 works. The new release brings the total archived works to 2,342, making it the most comprehensive collection ever on this artist. Tano Festa was a leading figure of the Scuola di Piazza del Popolo, alongside Mario Schifano and Franco Angeli, associated with Roman Pop Art. The catalog is organized chronologically and thematically, allowing scholars and enthusiasts to explore his diverse techniques. Anita Festa, who has managed the archive since 2001, expressed hope that this effort will finally secure her father the recognition he deserves. The archive website is https://www.tanofesta.it/archivio/ and the general catalog is at www.catalogogeneraletanofesta.it.
