Tanger CEO: World Cup Tourism Boosts Outlet Center Traffic and Sales
This summer, Tanger Inc. saw a rise in visitors and sales at its outlet centers, thanks to an influx of tourists for the World Cup. On Wednesday, CEO Stephen Yalof revealed that the company is active in eight of the eleven host cities. So far this year, sales have gone up by about 5%, with many international customers attracted to well-known American brands like Polo and Nike.
