Tan Boon Hui named director of Asia Society Museum and vice-president for Global Arts
Tan Boon Hui will assume leadership of the Asia Society Museum in New York this December, while also taking on the role of vice-president for Global Arts and Cultural Programmes. His appointment follows his tenure as assistant chief executive for museums and programmes at Singapore's National Heritage Board. Previously, Tan served as director of the Singapore Art Museum and co-directed the 2013 Singapore Biennale. He recently oversaw the Singapour en France festival, which concluded in June. The Asia Society Museum position is based in New York.
