Taller de Arquitectura Miguel Montor Opens Mixed-Use Gallery and Studio in Mexico City

architecture-design · 2026-04-26

After thirteen years of practice, Taller de Arquitectura Miguel Montor has completed a 254-square-meter mixed-use architecture project in Mexico City, combining a gallery and studio space. The project, curated by Valentina Díaz and photographed by Onnis Luque, was designed by lead architect Miguel Montor with a team including Pilar Rico, Susana Cárdona, Zaira Nieto, and Lorenzo Farfán. The space is intended to foster reflection and creative experimentation, aligning with the firm's architectural philosophy. The studio's long search for a motivating environment that coherently speaks to their practice culminated in this self-commissioned project, where the architects acted as their own clients.
