Taipei Biennial 2016 Reveals Artist Roster for 'Gestures and Archives of the Present, Genealogies of the Future'
The 10th Taipei Biennial, which will take place at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, is curated by Corinne Diserens and is scheduled from 10 September 2016 to 5 February 2017. Under the theme 'Gestures and Archives of the Present, Genealogies of the Future,' the event presents works from over 70 artists worldwide, such as Dareen Abbas, Saâdane Afif, John Akomfrah, Francis Alÿs, Tacita Dean, and Yvonne Rainer.
