TAILOR newsletter closes 2025 with special issue on design and Naples book
The TAILOR newsletter, published by Artribune and focused on fashion, art, and culture, has released its final issue of 2025 before the Christmas holidays. It will return on Sunday, January 11, 2026, to celebrate its first anniversary since official launch. The special issue features two main stories. First, at the Milan-Bollate prison, eight female inmates completed a course certified by IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), producing eight handbags from scratch. The project, called 'Unlimited Edition: The Bag,' is described by vice president Maria Teresa Coradduzza as a social responsibility action that interprets the legacy of IED founder Francesco Morelli, viewing design as a tool for growth, dignity, and rebirth. Second, the newsletter covers the book 'Napoli Infinita' by Sabato De Sarno, former creative director of Gucci until February 2025. The volume is dedicated to Naples, described by De Sarno as 'root and contradiction, invention and memory.' He explains the title as an intentional rejection of framing, stating that 'the infinite cannot be framed.' The newsletter also includes regular sections: Osservatorio, Agenda, Opportunità, and Libri, curated by Margherita Cuccia and Giulio Solfrizzi. Additionally, Artribune promotes its other newsletters: 'Incanti' (weekly on the art market), 'Render' (biweekly on urban regeneration), 'PAX' (biweekly on cultural tourism), and 'Lettera' (daily). The platform was founded in 2011.
