TACTO Memo Holder Turns Desk Object into Soft Cactus

Industrial designer Yuhan (Ivan) Gu, founder of Ivan Studio, has created TACTO, a cactus-inspired memo holder that reimagines everyday desk objects. The design features a soft foam body wrapped in felt, with pin-like elements that function as cactus thorns for attaching notes. A flowerpot-like base integrates storage for rolled memo paper, blending practicality with sculptural form. The project explores biomimicry and tactile interaction, aiming to inject curiosity into daily routines.
