Tabish Khan, known as the @LondonArtCritic, has curated a list of five must-see art exhibitions in London for spring 2026. The Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition 2026 at Somerset House features powerful stories, including cut-out persons representing missing people in Mexico, 'tiger widows' in India regrowing forests, and Bangladeshi homes becoming islands during monsoons. Runs until 4th May. Shane Keisuke Berkery's 'Shane, Come Back' at Carl Kostyal presents collage-like paintings blending his life, girlfriend, fellow artist, gallery architecture, Bank underground station, and Western scenes. Until 3rd May. Katharina Grosse's 'I Set Out, I Walked Fast' at White Cube, Bermondsey, offers immersive color swirls on giant canvases and a room where color covers floor, rocks, and canvas. Until 31st May. Mateo Revillo's 'Forms Have Attitude' at Niso features abstract canvases sliced and recomposed to shoot out of walls, challenging perception. Until 9th May. Alexis Ralaivao's 'Flirter avec l'abstrait' at Pilar Corrias, Conduit Street, removes sitters to focus on fabric folds in large-scale paintings. Until 25th May.
