TAB 2026 Announces Winners of Installation and Vision Competitions
The 8th Tallinn Architecture Biennale (TAB 2026), organized by Stuudio TÄNA, Mark Aleksander Fischer, and Mira Samonig with the theme 'How Much?', has revealed the winners of its Installation Programme and Vision Competitions. The top honor in the Installation Programme was claimed by 'Budget Bougie' from Resonance / Aru Ma-Architects, established by Cheng Hao Chung, Zhang Jie, Cui Jiakai, and Matteo Minnicelli, set to be constructed in Tallinn's Rotermann district by August 2026. 'A Song of the Last Wooden House' by Laula Laudis secured second place, while Eero Kustaa Haapanen's 'KaKaru' took third. The Vision Competition's first prize went to 'A Place Reclaimed' by Patrick Liik and collaborators. TAB 2026 is scheduled from September 9 to November 30, 2026, with the Opening Week from September 9–13.
