T Magazine's Salone del Mobile Party Features Marie-Anne Oudejans' Indian-Italian Fusion at Villa Necchi Campiglio

festival-fair · 2026-04-22

The annual celebration hosted by T Magazine for Salone del Mobile turned Milan's Villa Necchi Campiglio into a vibrant showcase, featuring the work of designer Marie-Anne Oudejans. The Jaipur-based creator harmonized Indian and Italian styles, utilizing a palette of pink and green. Floral and bird motifs were hand-painted on textile panels by Oudejans and her artisans, complemented by wisteria from the villa's pergola. Guests were greeted by a green and white striped backdrop and an arcade of ogee arches draped in rose-pink Dedar fabric, inspired by Jaipur's City Palace. The mid-April gathering, set in the 1930s building designed by Piero Portaluppi, welcomed T Magazine staff and designers Misha Kahn and Sabine Marcelis.
