Syncretika Transforms from Association to Foundation in Udine

Syncretika, founded as an association in August 2024 in Udine, Italy, has recently become a foundation. The transition was marked by the opening of 'Movimento Interlocutorio,' an exhibition at the Chiesa di San Francesco in Udine, running until September 28, 2025. The exhibition features large-scale works by artist Adriano Piu, some of which can be touched and modified by visitors. Syncretika's president, lawyer Massimo Borgobello, explained that the association was born from a personal health crisis and a passion for local artists like Giorgio Celiberti and Giuseppe Zigaina. The first project, 'Mostra Rigenerazione,' took place in October 2024 at Make Spazio Espositivo. Syncretika won a regional grant from Friuli Venezia Giulia for cultural events, leading to 'Movimento Interlocutorio' in collaboration with the Civici Musei di Udine. Previous exhibitions include 'Mostra Logos' by Maurizio Valdemarin, which featured digital and AI elements. Future plans include an optical art exhibition in partnership with Confindustria Udine, featuring works by Getullio Alviani, and the creation of new music and performances linked to exhibitions. Syncretika aims to revive debate on contemporary and avant-garde art in Friuli, starting locally and expanding nationally.
