Symposium on Art as Political Action in European Cooperation Project
There's a two-day symposium called 'Artistic Prefigurations, Institutional Becomings' coming up, and it’s going to explore how artistic practices connect with different institutional, economic, and political contexts. This event is a part of the European Cooperation Project Institution(ing)s, which includes eight organizations from seven countries. The symposium takes inspiration from philosopher Gerald Raunig's concept of 'instituent practices.' It highlights the urgent need to rethink our cultural infrastructures, especially given the growing socio-political divides and the weakening of cultural institutions.
