Symbol's Bowery Loft Doubles as Showroom and Listening Lounge

Nyack, New York–based furniture company Symbol has opened its first showroom on New York's Bowery. The 3,000-square-foot loft serves triple duty as a display space, a workplace for city-based team members, and a living room and listening lounge for events. Founded in 2012, Symbol initially produced record stands, media consoles, and audio storage before evolving into full furniture design. The space features low-lying, plush sofas suited for listening to records, reflecting the brand's roots in audio gear. The loft's design allows it to shift seamlessly between different functions.
