Swiss Institute launches temporary Tribeca space Swiss In situ with Nieves and Innen

On August 4, 2016, Swiss In situ launched at 102 Franklin Street in Tribeca, New York. The Swiss Institute will utilize this temporary venue until its permanent relocation in 2017. The programming focuses on temporary installations, various publishing formats, and projects that foster social engagement. The inaugural project will be presented by independent Swiss publishing houses Nieves and Innen, showcasing hundreds of image-driven, pocket-sized publications created over 15 years. Additionally, a selection of international artists will exhibit their work in the library and lead discussions and workshops centered on careers in publishing. This initiative signifies the Institute's transitional period prior to its permanent move.
