Swatch and Audemars Piguet Confirm “Royal Pop” Watch Collaboration

Swatch and Audemars Piguet have officially confirmed their collaboration on a new watch collection called “Royal Pop,” ending weeks of social media speculation. The partnership was announced via an Instagram video that featured a Sistem51 movement but no product shots. Swatch had teased the release with cryptic videos during Watches and Wonders, showing bold-colored lanyards and the word “Clack,” followed by a reveal of the collection name and a May 16 release date. This marks the first time Swatch has collaborated with a brand from the “Holy Trinity” of watchmaking. The watch is expected to sell out quickly and will be available at select Swatch boutiques.
