The project, finished in 2022, sits between modern skyscrapers and the historic Huguang Guild Hall, with views of the Dongshuimen Bridge and Yangtze River. The design team, led by Jie Du, Wen Dong, and Xiaowen Yin, aimed to integrate the new structure with the surrounding historical and natural context.
