Susan Hefuna's First Swiss Survey at Art Museum Graubünden
The Art Museum Graubünden in Chur, Switzerland, is hosting the first comprehensive survey of Susan Hefuna's work in the country, running from 2026. Born in 1962 and raised across Egypt, Germany, and Austria, Hefuna now lives in Germany and Switzerland. Her multidisciplinary practice spans drawing, photography, installation, video, and performance, often probing the duality of public and private spaces and subjective perceptions. Curated by Stephan Kunz, the exhibition emphasizes Graubünden's cultural ties to the wider world. A companion publication from Scheidegger & Spiess includes texts by Nat Muller, Linda Schädler, William Wells, and Hans Ulrich Obrist.
