Superstudio Launches Monthly 'Fuori Fuorisalone' to Extend Milan Design Week
Superstudio Group, founded by Flavio Lucchini and Gisella Borioli, announces a new project called 'Fuori Fuorisalone' to combat the overwhelming concentration of Milan Design Week. The initiative will host small monthly thematic exhibitions in the gallery at via Tortona, blending art and design. The first show, 'Toys,' opens July 6, featuring playful home objects by Italian brands Altreforme, Lago, Magis, and Slide alongside sculptures by Lucchini. A subsequent focus will be on Polish designer Dorota Koziara, a student of Alessandro Mendini. Borioli states the project aims to underscore Superstudio's year-round influence on Milan's design scene, offering talks, presentations, and guided visits for groups and professionals.
