Supercondominio 2025: European Independent Spaces Gather in Dogliani

The seventh edition of Supercondominio, the annual assembly of European independent spaces, will take place on September 6–7, 2025, in Dogliani, near Cuneo, Italy. Curated by the collective Treti Galaxie (Matteo Mottin and Ramona Ponzini), the event brings together ten spaces from Athens, Vienna, Rome, Helsinki, and other cities. This year's focus is on education as a tool for activation, exchange, and openness toward diverse publics, communities, and territories. Artists Cleo Fariselli and Elena Mazzi will present works: Fariselli's performance "U." explores tactile and immersive experience through objects and gestures, while Mazzi's "Europe calling" reflects on sustainability of independent cultural spaces, developed in the context of the European Capital of Culture in Slovenia. Participating Italian spaces include Almanac, ARTECO, LOCALES, PIA School, and Post Disaster; European spaces include CLOSING SOON (Athens), Independent Space Index (Vienna), Open School East (Margate), PUBLICS (Helsinki), and RADIUS (Delft). Events will be held in English at the Teatro della Chiesa Sacra Famiglia, Biblioteca civica Luigi Einaudi, and Sala del Consiglio Comunale. Supercondominio is part of Radis, a four-year project aiming to make contemporary art accessible and rooted in extra-urban territories. An artwork by Halilaj will be inaugurated on October 5, 2025, in Borgata Valdibà, Dogliani, on permanent loan from the Fondazione per l'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT.
