Supercazzola Store Opens in Florence Dedicated to Amici Miei Film Saga

A new store dedicated to the iconic Italian film saga "Amici Miei" has opened in Florence. Named the Supercazzola Store, it is located on Via de Renai, famous for a memorable scene from the films. The store sells gadgets, t-shirts, DVDs, wines from La Tognazza (founded by Ugo Tognazzi and continued by his son Gian Marco), a food corner, and memorabilia from related films such as Fantozzi, Il Ragazzo di Campagna, Il Marchese del Grillo, and Febbre da Cavallo. It also plans events, initiatives, and a tour of filming locations in Florence. The "Amici Miei" trilogy spans from 1975 (Act I, directed by Mario Monicelli) to 1985 (Act III, directed by Nanni Loy), originally written by Pietro Germi. The films follow five middle-class Florentine friends: architect Rambaldo Melandri (Gastone Moschin), journalist Giorgio Perozzi (Philippe Noiret), Count Lello Mascetti (Ugo Tognazzi), barista Guido Necchi (Duilio Del Prete then Renzo Montagnani), and surgeon Alfeo Sassaroli (Adolfo Celi). The store is described as a mecca for fans.
