Superbellezza: Bertolo and Favelli Transform San Sepolcro with Public Art Interventions

Opening December 15 at Palazzo Muglioni in San Sepolcro, 'Superbellezza' is a group exhibition curated by Michele Dantini featuring artists Luca Bertolo and Flavio Favelli. The show extends beyond the gallery into the city, with a large tapestry co-created by the artists hung on the facade of Palazzo Muglioni, two original 70×100 cm posters displayed in public spaces, and two original artworks printed on paper bags distributed for free at local supermarkets and shops on opening day. Inside CasermArcheologica, the cultural association that manages the venue, the exhibition includes drawings, original works, and site-specific installations in the halls of Palazzo Muglioni. Supported by Toscanaincontemporanea2018, the project aims to foster dialogue between contemporary art and the community. Laura Caruso, Project Manager of CasermArcheologica, stated that the initiative marks the organization's transition to a more scholarly curatorial approach, with Dantini bringing together two artists who had long wished to collaborate. The interventions are designed to engage commercial establishments and public advertising spaces throughout San Sepolcro.
