SUPERAURORA Music & Art Festival debuts in Rome with Craig David, Jungle

SUPERAURORA Music & Art Festival, a new international music festival inspired by Coachella, Sziget, Sonar, and Primavera Sound, will take place on July 27-28, 2024, in the Pineta di Castel Fusano park at the foot of the 17th-century Castello Chigi in Rome. Organized by Alcazar and Spaghetti Unplugged, the festival features two stages with live performances and DJ sets by artists including Craig David, BigMama, Masego, Louie Vega, Mecna, Jungle, JP Cooper, Fast Animal and Slow Kids, and Mezzosangue. The event offers a nature immersion, a gastronomic village, recreational activities, art installations, and camping near Ostia beach. The venue, Villa Chigi-Sacchetti, is a 17th-century estate within the protected Parco Urbano Pineta di Castel Fusano, owned by the Chigi family since 1755. Festival founder Luca Carinci aims to create a large-scale immersive experience addressing sustainability and community, with plans to expand artist diversity and artistic programming in future editions.
