Sunday Art Fair Declines Under New Management, Struggles to Compete with Frieze

The seventh edition of Sunday Art Fair, held in the basement of Westminster University opposite Madame Tussauds, has been criticized for poor organization and lack of communication. Organizers Adam Thomas and Thom O'Nions of Supplement Gallery took over last year, but the fair has continued its decline. With 25 independent galleries, the event lacks press releases, has fewer sponsors, and leaves exhibitors without guidance. Despite some strong stands, including Italian gallery SpazioA presenting Chiara Camoni and Luca Bertolo, the fair fails to attract attention in London. Competitors like Frieze, Independent in New York, Liste in Basel, and Paris Internationale are more successful. The fair runs from October 6 to 9, 2016 at Ambika P3.
