Summer 2024 Art Prize Winners Announced Across Italy

This summer, Italy reaffirmed its commitment to cultural recognition by honoring emerging talents through various awards. Davide Monteleone received the Segnalazioni accolade in the Deloitte Photo Grant 2024 for his exhibition, Critical Minerals – Geography of Energy, which will be displayed at Mudec Photo in Milan from November 9 to December 15, 2024. Giulia Deval earned the Premio Lydia, aimed at artists under 35, for her work on human and non-human communication, set to be presented in 2025. The RestART: Cityness, Ecologies and Community – Bari/Guangzhou Art Prize was awarded to Yuan Seqiang and Alessandra Antezza Rivelli. Petrit Halilaj claimed the Premio Stromboli 2024, focusing on Kosovo's historical narratives, while Catherine Biocca received the ALA Art Prize for Cloudy Care (2024), with Veronica Bisesti receiving a special mention for Partitura della nascita (2024).
