Summer 2022 Art Exhibitions Across Liguria
Genoa is at the forefront of Liguria's cultural offerings this summer with the Biennale di Arte Contemporanea at Palazzo Ducale, featuring 40 artists from Italy and Sweden. Additionally, the venue presents a retrospective dedicated to Tina Modotti and honors Vittorio Gassman on his centenary. In La Spezia, Fondazione Carispezia has extended Jacopo Benassi's 'Matrice' until September 11, under the curation of Antonio Grulli. The CAMeC is showcasing '50 Years of Galleria Il Gabbiano' until September 25, along with a retrospective of Giacomo Verde. In Sarzana, Galleria Golfo dei Poeti displays works by Manlio Argenti until August 31, while Arianna Carossa's 'The Phantom's Privilege' and Steve McCurry's 'Cibo' will be available in Ventimiglia until September 3 and September 4, respectively. Other exhibitions feature Francesco Casorati in Cervo and Massimiliano Camellini in Genoa.
