Summer 2019 Exhibition Guide: Momentum Biennial, Arles Photography, and Artist Surveys Across Europe and US

The Nordic Biennial of Contemporary Art, titled Momentum 10, is taking place across various venues in Moss until 9 October, showcasing the works of 29 artists, including Olafur Eliasson and Ragnar Kjartansson, under the theme 'Emotion' curated by Marti Manen. Photography enthusiasts can visit Les Rencontres d'Arles from 1 July to 22 September, which pays homage to Edward Weston's 1970 exhibition. Hreinn Friðfinnsson's retrospective at Geneva's Centre d'Art Contemporain is available until 25 August. In Glasgow, Robert Anton's puppet theater is on display at Tramway until 6 July, while Julie Becker's exhibition at MoMA PS1 runs until 2 September. Dorit Margreiter's solo show at Mumok in Vienna is open until 6 October. Kim Gordon's first US retrospective at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh lasts until 1 September, and Mayo Thompson's work is featured at Galerie Buchholz in Berlin from 28 June to 17 August. Lastly, Roman Signer's exhibition at Kunsthaus Zug is ongoing until 15 September, and Mark Dion's 'Our Plundered Planet' at Dublin's Hugh Lane will be available until 1 September.
