Summer 2015 Exhibition Highlights: Charles Ray, Mona Hatoum, and Nordic Biennial

At the Art Institute of Chicago, Charles Ray showcases 19 pieces created between 1997 and 2014 until October 4, featuring works such as Untitled (Tractor) (2003–5) and Hinoki (2007). Meanwhile, the Nordic Biennial, Momentum 8, is taking place in Moss, Norway, from June 13 to September 27, curated by Jonatan Habib Engqvist, Birta Gudjonsdottir, Stefanie Hessler, and Toke Lykkeberg, with participation from 24 artists including Ryan Trecartin. In Paris, Mona Hatoum's retrospective at Centre Pompidou runs from June 24 to September 28, displaying around 100 works. Olaf Breuning's exhibition at Metro Pictures in New York is open until August 1. Paul Chan's engagement with Plato's Hippias Minor is at Deste Project Space Slaughterhouse in Greece from June 15 to September 30, and Corin Sworn's work is on view at Whitechapel Gallery in London until July 19.
