Studio TiEpolo38 in Rome Opens Integrated Lounge Bar 'And Inside'

Studio TiEpolo38, a gallery in Rome, inaugurated its integrated lounge bar 'And Inside' on October 23, 2017. The space, designed by gallerist Elena Tarantini, is a members-only club (Associazione Culturale Studio Tiepolo 38) with a 5-euro membership fee. Unlike typical museum bars, And Inside is fully integrated with the gallery's exhibition space, accessible only after viewing the show. The lounge features dark walls contrasting with the white cube galleries and hosts occasional jazz concerts, poetry readings, and DJ sets. The gallery itself reopened in October 2017 after a long pause, aiming to become a hub for artists and intellectuals, promoting contemporary art in Rome. Its location in a revitalized neighborhood near Zaha Hadid's MAXXI museum and Renzo Piano's auditorium adds cultural momentum. The exhibition space, divided into three rooms, is structurally neutral to accommodate various media. Upcoming shows include Susana Serpas Soriano's 'Terra e sangue' from March 29 to May 18, 2019.
