Studio Ghibli's first CG film 'Earwig and the Witch' debuts online
Studio Ghibli's first fully computer-generated 3D film, 'Earwig and the Witch,' directed by Goro Miyazaki, premiered in Japan on NHK on December 30, 2020. The film, based on Diana Wynne Jones' novel, follows a girl adopted by a mysterious couple. It will stream on HBO Max in the US from February 5, 2021. No Italian release details yet.
