Studio Fabio Fantolino's Lève Office Bar Reimagines 1960s Corporate Interiors in Turin

architecture-design · 2026-05-18

In Turin, Lève Office Bar has been unveiled by Studio Fabio Fantolino, offering a view of a tranquil garden in the city center. The design moves away from nostalgic mid-century styles, opting instead to reinterpret the meticulous structure and premium materials characteristic of 1960s corporate spaces. The project emphasizes spatial dynamics and material contrasts, featuring chrome-plated metal, stainless steel, and rich color fields to establish a reflective environment. The interior is organized into three distinct areas that adapt to daily activities: a linear space with a large stainless steel counter that shifts from minimalist daytime service to an active cocktail bar at night; a double-height area with a green resin floor that contrasts cool surfaces with organic warmth; and an upper mezzanine inspired by historic American open-plan offices, furnished with custom sofas and light partitions. The industrial feel is softened by warm leather seating, textured glass blocks, and a classic herringbone floor in brick tones. An integrated lighting system includes a luminous grid in the double-height area and retro pendant lamps above. Iconic pieces like the Ipoli 06 lamp by Lambert & Fils and Santa & Cole's Maija lamp add finishing touches. The bar harmonizes structural precision with a welcoming atmosphere, catering to patrons from morning coffee to late-night cocktails.
