Studio Carraldo's DELULU labyrinth uses jute walls and movable partitions for MCBW 2026

architecture-design · 2026-05-18

Studio Carraldo will unveil its latest installation, DELULU, during the 2026 Munich Creative Business Week (MCBW). This interactive labyrinth allows attendees to personalize their journey through adjustable partitions suspended from above, which can shift along the ground. The installation features walls made of natural jute fabric, creating a tactile atmosphere. Delulu, a term for 'delusional,' draws from Timothy Morton's theory of 'hyperobjects,' addressing issues around uncertainty and the overload of the digital age. Visitors will navigate varying experiences that oscillate between solitude and communal interaction. The project showcases the talents of designers including Franka Ruhnau and Jonas Rosenfelder.
