Studio 10 Completes Wetland Discovery Pavilion in Longyou

The Wetland Caves Pavilion, covering 85 square meters, has been completed by Studio 10 on Chuanchang Island in Xiaonanhu, located in Longyou County, Quzhou City, China. Finished in 2023, this facility highlights the unique wetland areas shaped by the Qu River’s erosion and sediment processes, supporting a rich ecosystem. It allows guests to appreciate the natural beauty and the ancient caves, blending architecture with nature seamlessly. Shi Zhou led the architectural team, with Tianlu Zhou and Ningjue Lv as project leaders. The Longyou County People’s Government commissioned the project, with collaboration from various organizations, including the China Academy of Urban Planning & Design. Construction was handled by Zhejiang Yuanjing Construction Co., Ltd., and the project was documented by photographers Chao Zhang and Guowei Liu.
