Street Art Returns to Petit Palais with Free Summer Exhibition 'We Are [Still] Here'
The Petit Palais in Paris will host the free urban art exhibition 'We Are [Still] Here' from June 20 to September 20, 2026, following its success in 2024, which drew more than 600,000 attendees. Curated by Mehdi Ben Cheikh, the exhibition includes over 200 pieces from 75 different artists. Ben Cheikh compares today’s street artists to the 'refusés' of the 1863 Salon des Refusés. Notable works include D*Face's 'Memento Viveri,' Delft-style creations by Maxime Siau, and a hyperrealistic sculpture from Mark Jenkins. The exhibition's concluding room features 130 pieces from artists such as Vhils and Shepard Fairey, with Codex Urbanus alluding to Kilroy, the iconic graffiti figure from the Normandy landings.
