Street Art a Siena: 10 Murales Fuori le Mura
The Comune di Siena has teamed up with local artists and the Regione Toscana to push forward the #CantiereComune project, focused on contemporary art. This initiative kicked off alongside the A(Round) Presenti/Assenti launch, and the Tu35 Street View urban art project began as well. Curated by Stefania Margiacchi and a selection of under-35 curators from the TU35 – Geografie per l’Arte Emergente in Toscana call, it showcases ten artists from different Tuscan regions creating urban art by the historic Fonte di Doccia. They include Jacopo Pischedda, Lorenzo Brini, and others, all interpreting 'Siena vista da fuori' through their murals. Running until mid-December, this project aims to enhance Siena's artistic scene and support new talent, with an emphasis on the city’s vibrant history and identity.
