Street Alps Festival launches guided tours after crowdfunding success

festival-fair · 2026-05-05

The fourth edition of Street Alps, Italy's first national street art festival set in foothill locations, concluded successfully from May to October after reaching its €10,000 crowdfunding target on Eppela. The funds, co-financed by Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT, enabled the creation of five new works covering about 300 square meters of urban surface in Pinerolo, adding to the existing 30 murals from previous editions. New pieces include intricate structures by Zorkmade, hyper-colored silhouettes by Giò Pistone in the station underpass, an introspective man-nature analysis by Andrea Casciu, and a floating rope sculpture plus geometric mural by Moneyless. Festival founder Riccardo (Ten) Colombo announced that a paper map (15,000 copies, free distribution) will be ready by February, and the first guided tour will take place on February 18, 2018, organized by cultural association Pigmenti in collaboration with the municipality of Pinerolo. Starting April 2018, tours will occur monthly, aiming to promote cultural tourism in the Val Pellice and Val Chisone areas of Piedmont.
