Strategic Art Management Workshop at BASE Milano

A laboratory on Strategic Art Management will take place on October 20-21 at BASE Milano, an urban creative hub founded in 2015 in the former Ansaldo industrial complex. The workshop moves beyond traditional academic formats, emphasizing analytical exchange and critical discussion among professionals operating in the Milan urban area. Michele Trimarchi, professor of Public Economics at the University of Catanzaro and Cultural Economics at the University of Bologna, coordinates the program. Participants must submit a project before the workshop for expert analysis and group critique, creating a simulation and experimentation workshop covering diverse areas and competencies. The training targets managers, researchers, university lecturers, cultural enterprises, and startups rather than students. Trimarchi notes that culture is reclaiming urban spaces, making it essential to have tools for interaction within the system. The workshop aims to foster ongoing synergy and dialogue beyond the two-day event.
