Stop-Motion Short 'Enough' Explores Urge to Lose Control
Swedish director and animator Anna Mantzaris has created 'Enough,' a stop-motion short film exploring the universal temptation to break social norms. Completed in early 2018 during her studies at the Royal College of Art in London, the film follows various characters dealing with everyday frustrations: missing a bus, arguing in a meeting, waiting in long lines, or handling rude customers. Mantzaris stated she wanted the protagonists to be calm characters with whom audiences sympathize, contrasting with their less calm actions, and to appear slightly awkward and uncomfortable, reflecting real social situations. Mantzaris recently contributed to Wes Anderson's 'Isle of Dogs' and has won multiple awards for her short films.
