Stoner novel inspires exhibition at FLA Pescara Festival 2016
There's a crowdfunding campaign happening on CrowdArts for an exhibition called 'Stoner. Landing Pages', which is inspired by the book 'Stoner' by John Williams. This exhibition is going to be part of the #FLA Pescara Festival in Italy from November 10 to 13, 2016. The novel, first released in 1965, was largely ignored until Anna Gavalda, a French writer, discovered it in 2011 and got the rights for translation. After that, it became a bestseller in many countries, including Italy, where it was published by Fazi Editore in 2012. Curators Cinzia Compalati and Andrea Zanetti are featuring seven artists to interpret the book’s characters. The crowdfunding will wrap up on September 16, inviting supporters to join as co-producers.
