Stills of Peace XIII Edition in Argentina Explores Global Identity

The thirteenth installment of Stills of Peace and Everyday Life, under the direction of Giovanna Dello Iacono and organized by Fondazione ARIA, has chosen Argentina as its featured nation, emphasizing Global Identity. This event marks the conclusion of a trilogy centered on Latin America, succeeding Mexico and Colombia. Argentina's inclusion highlights its rich migration narrative, especially regarding Italian emigrants. The principal exhibition, Global Identity, takes place at Cisterne di Palazzo Acquaviva in Atri, showcasing artists Luciana Lamothe and Nicola Samorì. Additional displays include Stills of Peace for Young and a documentary about composer Rodolfo Zanni. In Pescara, L’uguale, il diverso juxtaposes the works of Armando Di Antonio and María Zorzon. The agenda features Cine Argentina and Stills Story, with contributions from seven curators and twelve international artists over a span of three months.
