Steven Klein Celebrates 60th Birthday at Faena New York with Fashion Elite

On Thursday evening, photographer Steven Klein marked his 60th birthday at Faena New York in West Chelsea, surrounded by 70 attendees, including Kim Cattrall, Helena Christensen, and Irina Shayk. The festivities kicked off in the Living Room, a lounge reminiscent of the 1970s adorned with leopard print, adjacent to a Keith Haring mural—the largest of his works not housed in a museum. Esteemed guests such as Grace Coddington, Edward Enninful, Joan Smalls, Patti Wilson, and Susanne Bartsch were present. Cattrall reminisced about Klein's 2002 "Got Milk?" advertisement and a 2023 Skims campaign, while Christensen lauded his compassionate nature. His partner, Joshua Cummings, surprised him with a three-layer red velvet and chocolate cake. Klein expressed a desire for creativity to return to magazines, and Shayk offered her wishes for health and love. The celebration continued at El Secreto nightclub, where Madonna's son, David Banda, was the first to dance. Klein also shared his ambitions for a feature film exploring New York's darker aspects, alongside plans for additional books and exhibitions.
