Steve Parke's Intimate Prince Photographs Published in Two-Volume Special Edition

ACC Art Books has released 'Prince: The Two-Volume Special Edition,' which showcases over 570 photographs taken by Steve Parke. For 13 years, Parke was the in-house art director at Paisley Park, where he designed album covers, hand-painted guitars, and captured candid moments of Prince. This collection, sourced from Parke's personal archives, provides a close look at Prince in various settings, including his Minnesota studio, his residence in Marbella, Spain, and moments with his first wife, Mayte Garcia, and their dog, Mia. Many photographs were taken in the late 1990s using new digital camera technology, allowing for immediate feedback. Parke mentioned to Wallpaper* that these images were often spontaneous and reflected his daily experiences with Prince rather than the rock star image. He personally curated all the photographs for the book, enhancing its intimacy as both a collaborator and a friend. The books are available on the ACC Art Books website.
